Our managing director, Angus Marshall, acted as the UK's principal expert on digital evidence to ISO/IEC JTC1 SC27 (the Information Security standards sub-committee). In that role, he contributed to the development of the ISO/IEC 27037 "Guidelines for identification, collection, acquisition and preservation of digital evidence", helping to ensure that they would be compatible with the standards used by law-enforcement agencies.

In addition to his contribution to ISO/IEC 27037, Angus also led the development of the ISO/IEC 27041 "Guidance on assuring suitability and adequacy of incident investigative method" and ISO/IEC 27042 "Guidelines for the analysis and interpretation of digital evidence" standards.

Because of this, he is uniquely placed to assist with the development and deployment of standards-compliant investigation systems for all sizes of business. Starting on 23rd June 2015, we will be publishing a set of short guides to assist with using and implementing these standards.
